A/V Requirements

  • Meeting the following requirements will help to insure a great presentation
  • Wireless lavaliere microphone
  • Full house lights (if using image magnification and/or videotaping, please use as much house lighting as possible)
  • LCD project with screen (preferably placed diagonally to the audience)
  • Paul shall provide a laptop computer if Power Point is used
  • Please provide a table with cloth in the staging area for Paul’s props and computer.

Room Setup

The following suggestions are important for the effectiveness of the presentation and for the overall success of the event:

  • The distance from the first row of seats/tables to the stage should be no more than 10 feet.
  • The ideal stage/riser height for audiences of up to 200 people is 6”-12”; for audiences of more than 200 people, 12”-24” in height is appropriate.
  • Podiums and tables on the stage not being used should be relocated during Paul’s presentation.
  • My programs are highly interactive and animated. This means that I like to move across the stage and occasionally into the audience. Please take this into consideration when setting the stage and audio logistics.
