Send an E-mail Newsletter.
Electronic magazines, or E-zines, allow you to send brief notes regularly by e-mail, with virtually no cost. These are sent to the names in your database with email addresses. There are several email programs on the market that will help you facilitate these E-zines. About 15 to 30 lines of text is all you need to capture the reader’s attention. Offer some specific piece of information that is of value to your recipient. Write a ‘Top-10’ list for your recipients. For example, “Here are the Top–10 reasons you should consider a professional design/build company for your next landscaping project.” Respect the privacy of your recipients by offering an “opt-in” E-zine. In other words, give them the option to subscribe to your E-zine. Always have a link in your E-zine to your Website. Offer tips, coupons, discounts, specials, and reminders about your company. As with a paper newsletter, consistency is important. When offered regularly, an electronic newsletter pays.
